Digital image processing enhances the overall viewing aesthetics of the displayed images. The Spartan®-3E FPGA provides an ideal platform for a wide variety of display applications as it supports high-speed LVDS, RSDS, and mini-LVDS, and memory technology interconnects such as DDR/DDR2 memory.

The Spartan-3E Display Development Kit helps with developing functional references for:

• Color temperature correction
• Precise gamma correction
• Image dither engine (IDE)
• Noise reduction
• Sharpness enhancement
