The Xilinx LogiCORE™ FlexRay controller core is ideally suited for use in automotive network applications that demand highly fault tolerant synchronous and asynchronous transfer capabilities. Through user-configurable options, the Xilinx FlexRay core provides a flexible solution for applications such as automotive network backbones, body control units, test equipment and gateways. The core can be used in standalone mode or connected to Xilinx MicroBlaze™ or PowerPC™ processors. The FlexRay core is designed to FlexRay specification 2.1A and is verified in hardware to enable users to quickly deliver flexible and affordable FPGA-based automotive systems.
