Virtex
/ E / EM FPGAs
- Virtex / E Family Overview
Introduced in 1998, and fabricated in 2.5V, 0.22 m process technology, the Virtex family set the standard for FPGA performance and density. In 1999, the 1.8V, 0.18 m Virtex-E family raised the bar.
- Virtex-EM Family Overview
Introduced in 2000, and fabricated in 1.8V, 0.18 m process technology, the Virtex-EM FPGA family expanded memory capacity to address highly buffered applications such as 160 Gpbs network switches and high-definition video applications
