The Opal Kelly XEM8320-AU25P is the official development platform for the Artix UltraScale+ FPGA featuring the FrontPanel SDK (USB 3.0) for building high-performance software-connected FPGA applications and multiple SYZYGY ports for modular peripheral connectivity. Both features greatly accelerate the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept designs. Also available is the XEM8310-AU25P -- a related SOM providing a convenient path to production for low- and mid-volume deployments.

Opal Kelly’s popular cross-platform FrontPanel SDK enableds high-speed FPGA configuration and host communication using a comprehensive API in C/C++, C#, Python, and Java programming languages. FrontPanel over IP allows applications built with the SDK to extend their reach over standard IP network infrastructure. A fully-featured image capture reference design is available with software and gateware sources for a comprehensive software development reference.

The SYZYGY open standard for FPGA-to-device interfaces is an exciting new interface to bridge the gap between Digilent PMOD and FMC (VITA 57.1). Offering higher performance and higher pin count than PMOD, SYZYGY can handle the high bandwidth requirements of today's data acquisition, instrumentation, sensing, and networking devices.
