2D/3D Situational Awareness for Aerospace & Defense

Real-time situational awareness is critically important in today’s latest mobile military systems. Zynq™ 7000 SoCs meet the high demands for such applications by allowing data capture and image processing which combine information streams from multiple sensors and cameras with resolutions of 2048 x 2048 at 30+ frames per second to construct and display 360 degree view of the surrounding environment.

2D and 3D imaging as well as 360 degree surround view are enabled by AMD SmartCORE™ IP for Zynq 7000 SoCs, with support for real-time image/video interfacing, capture, pre-processing, analytics, display, and networking functionalities, all in a single-device. This allows designers to compress current architectures from multi-chip and multi-board solutions into single device and single board solutions that meet rigorous performance and SWaP-C requirements.
